Sleeping Beauty

Claire is 7 weeks old this week. I can't believe how time flys. Tom watched all three kids for me last night so that I could go to a Spinning class at the YMCA. It was great to get out of the house and fun to take the class. Thanks Tom!!

Claire actually slept 10 hours straight last night. 10pm till 8am!! I'm not sure if she's going to continue sleeping so well but I'll take what I can get. Now if we could just get Drew to sleep past 6:30am!!

We are getting very excited to head to Ohio next weekend. I can't wait to hold my new nephew Levi!!

Drew skipped his nap yesterday so I'm hoping both boys take good naps today :)

Ready for anything

This morning I've been pooped on, spit up on twice, changed 4 diapers and done 2 loads of laundry. I've lost several games of "Diego 123" and thumb wrestling (Reese cheats!). The dishwasher is running. Dinner is ready for tonight. I've already showered. So far it's been a productive day :)

High energy fun x2, cute bundle of joy x1

This morning we were able to go play with Ellie and Grace for a few hours. The boys LOVE to play with their cousins! It is wonderful to see the kids hug each other and play together! The best part is Nate and Lisa's house has lots of room for the kids to run and therefore both boys are sleeping now :)

Nate and Lisa's newest daughter, Annie, is 2 weeks older than Claire. It is going to be fun watching those two grow up together.

Claire is smiling a lot now. She laughs and "talks" to us too. Andrew is convinced that she likes him better than me and doesn't miss an opportunity to tell me so. I must admit she does seem happy when he pays attention to her. When it's time to eat, though, there's no question who her favorite person is!!
She is still sleeping well for us at night. 7 hours last night. I can't complain.
Laundry is calling so I'd better get folding.

Two go down... one wakes up...

This is my first attempt at a blog. We'll see how far I get. As I write this the boys have just gone down for, what I hope will be a good nap. Claire is starting to wake up but is still somewhat asleep so now seems like as good a time as any to attempt a few minutes on the computer.

This morning was another morning of trying to keep the boys entertained while still being stuck in the house. We are getting creative with jumping over/on pillows and creating obstacle courses for them to run around. Spring is always a blessing but this year taking the kids outside to play will be nothing short of a gift from God!! We just signed Drew up for Spring Soccer and he is so pumped - even though he has no idea what to expect. Ahhh, the enthusiasm of youth!!

If I'm going to get anything done today I'd better get to it because before I know it... nap time will be over!! Peace out from the Gheen household.
